Tichu Score ยท Last updated October 8, 2026
Tichu Score is a score keeper for the card game Tichu, available on the web, as an iOS app and as an App Clip. This policy explains what the app stores and who can see it.
No accounts, no tracking
Tichu Score has no sign-in and asks for no personal information. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking, and nothing is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
What is stored online
When you create a game, the app saves the following in Google Firebase Realtime Database:
- the four-letter room code
- the team and player names you enter
- the target score, each round's scores and Tichu calls, and when they were entered
Anyone with the room code can see and edit that game. Use first names or nicknames if you'd rather not put full names in a game.
What stays on your device
The app remembers the last room you opened and your settings, such as whether scores are read aloud. This is stored only on your device. Reading scores aloud uses your device's built-in speech, and no audio is recorded.
Service providers
The game data is hosted by Google Firebase. Like any web service, Firebase receives your IP address and basic connection details when the app connects. See Firebase's privacy information.
How long data is kept
Games older than 7 days may be removed at any time, without notice.
Children
Tichu Score does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
