Questions
How do other players join my game?
Every game has a four-letter room code, shown at the top of the game screen. Tap it to share a link, or have the others choose Join with a code on the home screen and type it in.
I entered a round wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes. Tap the round in the list to change it, or delete it. The totals update for everyone in the room.
How is the score worked out?
You enter each team's card points, which always add up to 100. On top of that, a won Tichu is +100 and a lost one −100, a won Grand Tichu is +200 and a lost one −200, and a one-two (both partners out first) is +200 with no card points counted. The game ends when a team reaches the target score: 500, 1000, 1500 or a number you choose.
Why can anyone with the code change the score?
There are no accounts, so everyone at the table can add rounds from their own phone. The room code is what lets someone in, so only share it with your group.
Can it read the score out loud?
Yes. Tap the speaker button at the top of the game screen, and the device that saves each round will read out the new score.
How long are games kept?
Games older than 7 days may be removed at any time, so don't rely on the app as a permanent record.
Where it runs
On iPhone with iOS 17 or later, as an App Clip from a shared room link, and in any modern browser at tichu-score.web.app.
